About UsA development application has been lodged for Hospital and balance land for a future Health Precinct, 64 Foxwell Road, Coomera.
Designed by Conrad Gargett, the proposal seeks an eleven (11) storey hospital building that co-locates the patient admittance, medical imaging, and operating theatres within the four (4) storey podium. The seven (7) levels of the building above the podium provide open garden space, care units and accommodate 400 inpatient overnight beds.
The ground floor provides two patient drop off points (emergency and main entrance), as well as an ambulance zone and rear loading zone. The lower ground level provides 100 undercroft car parking and back of house hospital services. Road widening has been provided along Creek Road South and a stormwater detention area provided in proximity.
The large master planned Health Precinct for Coomera will sit to the south of the Westfield Coomera location and have access to the Foxwell Road / M1 interchange. The site is also positioned to the north of the earmarked $75 Million Dreamworld Resort, which forms part of the future expansion of the theme park.

Louis Cheung, Keylin managing director outlined that the preferred operators have been shortlisted for the delivery of the new Hospital.
“Foxwell Coomera offers a unique opportunity to embed itself as a connected community of integrated lifestyle, health, wellness, and business experiences”.
“We have engaged with Australia’s leading architects and hospital advisory firms to design a masterplan that delivers the region’s first comprehensive private hospital, with future stages to include campus-style allied health care, outpatient facilities, imaging, rehabilitation, and wellness services”.
“We are also advancing concepts to support the inclusion of a swim school, childcare facilities, and family-focused recreation services with a strong focus on lifestyle and wellbeing”, Cheung said.
Tommy Hung, Kinstone Group director outlined that the proposed private hospital will complement the Queensland State government’s announcement to construct a public hospital on a 13.2ha site in Coomera and was on schedule to be delivered by December.
“The scale of Foxwell Coomera, and its proximity to Coomera train station and the M1, presents an opportunity to explore how health and wellness can coexist with future-focused commercial and residential spaces, as part of a truly connected community.”
“The proposed private hospital is located on cleared land at the intersection of two new roads, Creek Road South and Wellness Way, enabling construction of the facility to be fast tracked”, said Mr Hung.
