Brisbane is about to welcome a selection of new high-end retailers with a shopping centre renovation enticing the tenants to open up shop.
Camilla, Dior, Aje and Scanlan and Theodore will open stand-alone retail stores in the Brisbane CBD in 2018.
A $36 million renovation of QueensPlaza is underway, which includes the remodelling of level one, including two new restaurants.
Development application submitted to the council revealed the plans for the tenancy fit-outs for the new tenants.
Camilla, Aje and Scanlan and Theodore plan to open their first CBD boutiques on level one of the centre, while Dior would be on the ground level with entry off the Queen Street Mall.
Australian clothing brands Gorman and Zimmerman have also submitted applications for shop fit-outs on level one.
The brands both currently have shops on Adelaide Street.
QueensPlaza centre manager Pamela Wakeford confirmed Dior would open in late 2018 while other Australian designers would also open shops on the remodelled level 1.
“We are pleased with our progress and look forward to welcoming new level 1 retailers over the coming months leading into Christmas,” she said.
QueensPlaza opened in 2005 and its most recent development was in 2008.
